The bass are in the Pre Spawn stage mode. Which means they are gonna be in the eating mode. With the lake level at normal pool stage, it’s going to be a toss up on where to fish. These fish have new water & a lot of fallen Cypress trees to explore. So as the spawn comes into play the laydowns will come into play. But thats for the next two months. White / Chartreuse 3/8 oz. spinnerbaits, Texas Rigged black / red creature baits & Black-Brown-Amber 7/16 oz Southpaw Jig and matching craw will be a big bite producer.Concentrate on Cypress trees along the edge of the sloughs and main channel. If we hae several warm days ease up on the inside edge of the treelines along the sloughs and channel. Same baits, just a little shallower.
